PALMVIEW, Texas- The Palmview Municipal Development District (PMDD) is proud to announce the launch of our “Made in Palmview” campaign. This initiative is designed to support local economic development efforts by championing local businesses and providing them with exposure, resources, training, and tailored business development support.
“The “Made in Palmview” campaign is a testament to our unwavering commitment to support our local Palmview businesses,” said Espie Ochoa, PMDD President. “By better understanding the needs of our local businesses, we can work toward providing exposure, resources, and training that will enhance their sustainability and ensure they succeed. Our PMDD board of directors is committed to promoting a thriving community where entrepreneurship can flourish, driving economic prosperity, and community pride.”
The campaign will include a range of FREE initiatives, including:
- Business Needs Assessments- Understanding the challenges and aspirations of local businesses is paramount. Through business surveys and interviews, PMDD will gather insights to inform targeted support programs and initiatives.
- Social Media Promotion- Leveraging the power of social media, the Made in Palmview Campaign will highlight local businesses, increasing their voices and showcasing their offerings to a wider audience.
- Milestone/Anniversary Events- PMDD understands that recognizing and celebrating the achievements of local businesses and sharing successes with our community is a high priority. PMDD will host milestone and anniversary events to honor the contributions of these businesses to our community.
- Made in Palmview Decal- The Made in Palmview decal will be provided to businesses to serve as a unique reminder of unity for local businesses, signifying their commitment to quality and community.
- Business Development Workshops- Knowledge is power. PMDD will organize a series of business development workshops covering topics such as marketing, finance, employee retention & operations, and equipping local businesses with the tools needed to succeed.
- Networking & Social Events- The “Made in Palmview” campaign aims to foster a sense of community and collaboration between and among local businesses. Networking events and socials will be held for local businesses to come together, network, and support fellow local businesses.
