PALMVIEW, Texas-The American Bikers Association- McAllen Chapter recently became the first local organization to secure a baseball field sign that will be displayed at Palmview Municipal Park Baseball Field #4. Shawn “Grizz” Smith, the Chapter Sergeant at Arms along with member Lisa Smith hand delivered a $1500 check to the City on Thursday, December 8.
The group is also sponsoring four teams which includes the business name on the team shirts. The Palmview Parks & Rec recently started offering the sign advertising opportunities with three different options along with team sponsorships.
- Single – includes outfield fence-sign for $300 per year.
- Home Run- includes outfield fence sign plus field naming annually along with periodic public address announcements during games for $900.
- Grand Slam – includes outfield fence sign plus scoreboard signage plus name on T-shirts (six teams) for $1600.
- Team Sponsorships- includes business/sponsor name on shirts for $150.
