City of Palmview Free Annual Toy Distribution Scheduled for Monday, December 18

PALMVIEW, Texas- The 2023 City of Palmview Toy distribution will be bigger and better with more than 1,000 toys ready to be given to Palmview children.  This year we’re holding it inside the Palmview Parks & Rec Gym, unlike prior years when city staff traveled the community to distribute the toys.

The toy distribution starts at 9 a.m. and runs through noon. The toys will be handed out on a first come basis and proof of residency is required.

More than 40 bikes will also be raffled throughout the four-hour distribution thanks to donations by Academy Sports & Outdoors and Councilmember Benito Hernandez.  The toys were purchased thanks to donations by Bert Ogden, L&R Ready Mix, Materiales El Valle, 7-Eleven, Excellent Fence, Ironshark Tow & Transport, Lone Star National Bank, State Farm-Ruben Solis Jr., La Joya Area Credit Union, La Mexico Carniceria, Wonderful Citrus, & Daniel Varela-Manu Transport, LLC.

Mayor Rick Villarreal says the holiday season is about giving, and thanks to all of our sponsors, we will ensure that more than 1,000 Palmview children get a Christmas present and a candy bag just in time for Christmas.
