Dulce Cortina is a business entrepreneur and actively involved in the Palmview Community. Cortina is a graduate of La Joya High School, earned an Associate’s Degree in Finance from the University of Texas-Pan American, received financial certification in General Lines Life, Accidental, & Health Insurance from Kaplan Financial Education, and is presently continuing her education at South Texas College for a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership. Cortina is owner of Budget Brights, a professional mobile teeth whitening business, and has been involved in various civic organizations such as the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Edinburg, and Somos Palmview, which promotes Palmview businesses on social media outlets. Cortina’s main goal is to help our city thrive economically, working closely with fellow board members to create a practical roadmap for economic development over the next few years. Cortina understands the importance of collaboration and actively seeks partnerships with other local boards, agencies, and regional entities. By leveraging collective resources and expertise, her goal is to explore opportunities for joint projects that amplify the positive impact on the lives of Palmview’s residents. |
