Jose Luis Perez, Director

Jose Luis Perez has served as Palmview Councilmember for five years and as a PMDD Board member for two years. Perez is a graduate of La Joya High School, obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley, and earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership with a Principal Certification from Lamar University. Perez is Assistant Principal at Juarez-Lincoln High School at La Joya ISD, and has previously served as a math instructor and migrant Director for the District, as well as an assistant manager in the private sector. Perez enjoys the role in PMDD for the opportunity to be involved in city infrastructure development, aims for continuous growth in business opportunities and infrastructure in the city, and is pleased with the additional businesses coming to the city and contributing to its growth.
