PALMVIEW, Texas- The Palmview Fire Department continues to monitor a gas leak that occurred late last night on Bentsen Palm and Business 83. While there is no immediate danger to residents in the area, Bentsen Palm is closed to all traffic from Mile 1 South to Business 83.
Fire Chief Jerry Alaniz says, they will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates throughout the morning and advise when the road reopens.
Again, there is no current threat to residents, but the road will remain closed until further notice.
